I got the asada frybread, which was decent for the price, though the asada was a bit too much like a higher-quality Taco Bell ground beef for my taste. With that said, I'm not usually a beans guy and I accidentally didn't ask them to take the beans off, and they were a very pleasant surprise. The frybread itself was amazing, and I'm sure the sugary frybread with cinnamon and honey would be delicious. The chips and salsa were really good. Good and attentive service, the place is run by nice people for sure. The interior is small and very colorful and small inside; it feels cozy, as a hole in the wall should. Pretty cool place.

My first time trying a fry bread taco & I highly recommend this spot. We order a crane asada fry bread taco & a shredded chicken one. The service was great and they got it out fast. Beans were phenomenal. I really enjoyed all of it. I will say the shredded chicken was a little juicier so the taco got a little soggy. It's a smaller place but they have seating in the back and a drive thru window.

It was my first time visiting the area and I read that one local food to try is fry bread. I'm so glad we found this sort of hidden gem in the back corner of a strip mall on a busy road. Thousands of people probably drive by everyday not knowing what authentic and delicious Mexican food they are missing. We were on a foodie tour of Scottsdale / Phoenix so we shared just one fry bread between the three of us. It would have been very filling if it was just for one. This is a multi generation business with the granddaughter up front taking orders, and her dad and (I think he said) grandmother in the back making the food magic happen. The dad proudly told us about his menu and suggested that we get our first taste of fry bread served Christmas style - with both red and green chilis / sauces - and he was not wrong! It was a generous serving and really tasty. We noticed the whole time we were there the drive through window was hopping, so maybe some of those thousands of drivers know to stop here for delicious food on their way home. It's definitely no frills inside and there are just a couple of small tables to sit at after you order at the counter, so it's clear their main business is take away. Go, get the fry bread, order it Christmas style and ENJOY!

We were in the Phoenix area for a few nights and Maria's was so good, we had to go back. The people working there were super friendly and a sidenote, the bathroom was very clean. We ordered the open frybread with green chili and it was excellent. They bring out three sauces and they were all delicious. When we went back we got the open frybread with carne asada. I preferred the green chili. We also got the cheese crisp with green chili. I wish I would have asked questions because although they are worded and spelled exactly the same, the cheese crisp came with chopped green chiles and not the same chili that was on the frybread. It was basically an open quesadilla...and not crispy like others I've had in Phoenix. It was still good, but I wouldn't have ordered it had I known. Lesson learned.

My first time having Frybread and honestly, I wasn't wowed at all. However, being that it's a small spot and the service was super duper fast and friendly, I'm sure their other items that I should have gone for (tacos or tostadas) are delicious . I also had an horchata with my frybread that came with green chile beef. All in all, a decent meal that filled me up for my drive back to the Chandler/Gilbert area.

I've never had a frybread taco before and I was very happy with it! We got the food through the drive-thru, which was convenient but not your typical drive through since there was only one window. The salsa they gave had a good flavor and the bread was tasty. They got our food to us relatively quick, so the service was good! Since we didn't go inside, I can't speak to the ambience, but I would definitely go back!
